Matthew is obviously a close friend of mine, but I think it's obvious that his is one of the finest music weblogs created in the short history of the medium. He puts a lot of time and effort into his writing, and there's a lot of thought behind the project -- he's not one of those PR-chasing, credibility-desperate First Post whores that clutter the scene. Matthew has brought more great music, and great thoughts about music, into my life than any other force on the planet, and this is just one way to thank him for it.
