On Valentine's Day weekend, my parents came to visit, stuffing me full of food and whirling me about to various touristy destinations. It was delightful. Mid-February 2003...
Awww. Happy Valentine's Day, guys. (They've been married more than thirty years! I don't think I've ever really let that sink in...)
Our first touristy destination: a day-trip out to Windsor and Eton. I decided to be a nice law-abiding boy and not photograph the castle's astonishingly opulent interior, but here's a few shots of the craggy rocky bits...
A lovely flower at the cute (and quite delicious) restaurant we had lunch at in Windsor.
Across the river in Eton, there was (1.) an astonishing number of cute young British guys and (2.) this weird mirror/spyglass situation. Another one I need to submit to the Mirror Project.
I'm sorry, England, but the Thames is just an ugly, depressing river. Maybe it's OK in the sunshine, but you don't seem to
have that here, now do you?
